Welcoming entries for the 7th Annual NY Cat Film Festival premiering in New York City 2024, then traveling the USA and Canada into 2025.
Submissions are open for any style of film or video with a feline theme - documentaries, scripted films and animated films. The NY Cat Film Festival celebrates the mysterious cats who share our world and their relationships with people. The Festival is a way for those who admire and are fascinated by cats to see films which have been made with an intention, concept or story to convey something essential about where cats fit into our human world - to honor cats and those who care about them. This festival is philanthropic: a portion of every ticket sold goes to a local animal shelter in every city it visits.
Shorter films are preferred (1 minute up to 30 minutes) but films up to 60 minutes will be considered. Films can have been made at any time and seen elsewhere
